Notice Regarding Shipments to the United States: Tariff and Regulatory Changes

On July 30, the U.S. government issued a presidential order entitled “Suspension of De Minimis Rules for All Countries.”

Effective August 29, all merchandise imported into the United States will no longer be eligible for the De Minimis exemption and will instead be subject to tariffs. At present, our shipping partners have advised us that the operational details regarding tariff declaration and payment to U.S. Customs remain unclear.

Accordingly, customers placing orders for delivery to the United States should be aware of the following:

  1. Potential Delays – Delivery times may be extended due to these new requirements.
  2. Retention of Shipping Information – Please retain your shipping company details and tracking number as provided in your shipping confirmation email. For inquiries regarding tariff payment, please contact the shipping company or U.S. Customs directly.
  3. Estimation of Duties – Our shop is unable to calculate or provide estimates of customs duties in advance.
  4. Non-Payment of Duties – Failure or refusal to pay the applicable duties may result in non-delivery. Packages may be returned to us or, in certain cases, disposed of by the shipping company. Returned packages are not eligible for a refund of product or shipping fees. Redelivery is possible upon request, subject to reshipment fees.
  5. Expired Storage Period – If customs duties remain unpaid during the storage period, the package may be returned or disposed of by the shipping company. No refunds will be issued for the product or shipping costs. Redelivery requests will incur additional fees.

We kindly request your understanding as we navigate these regulatory changes
