A couple months ago, Michan Toys released 12 different Asamimi plush keychains at the same time. Nearly all descriptions were about the same: soft cotton plushie texture, clean black outline stitching and detailed embroidery. Each keychain looked of exceptional quality, with defined features and a robust plush texture (see the “Little Devil,” “Little Angel” or “Muscle Babe,” for example). Thus, I ordered all 12 with excitement, thinking these would be the most amazing Asamimi keychains received to date. Unfortunately, none of the keychains looked even remotely like their pictures. They’re plushie, yes, but the outlines are generalized — not cut out — and there is no sharp black outline or embroidery.
I suspect the wide gap between what was advertised and what was received is why nearly all of these keychains were pulled from the online store.
I will probably not order anymore plushie keychains from Michan Toys. I am rating the “Ride on Butt” keychain at 3 stars simply because it’s classic Asamimi and is one of those memorable scenes that propelled her into TikTok superstardom! It’s just a shame the keychain didn’t really look like the advertisement.
On the upside, my wife thought all the keychains were still pretty cute. And shipping was fast — all keychains arrived just 10 days after shipping!
